XD-623 Console

$5,545.00

The XD-623 Series Console from Apex Instruments is designed for manual sampling of gaseous pollutants from stationary sources, e. g. stacks, flues, vents or pipes. The console is most commonly used for US EPA Methods 4, 6, 6A, 26, OTM-50, and VOST (Solid Waste 846 Methods 0030 and 0031). However, it is also suitable for most sampling methods requiring accurate sample volume measurements at constant sample flow rates between 300 ccm to 4 LPM.

Description

The all-new XD-623 Series Console for Manual Sampling of Gaseous Pollutants includes a precision dry gas meter fitted with a high-resolution rotary encoder, a leak-free pump, a user-replaceable meter pressure (Pm) sensor, a user-replaceable vacuum sensor, flow control valves, and a rotameter for monitoring the gas flow rate. This next generation console includes highly-requested features and capabilities from our customers and can easily be adapted to all manual gaseous testing methods including US EPA Methods 4, 6, 6A, 26, OTM-50, and VOST (Solid Waste 846 Methods 0030 and 0031). Presenting a new look and feel, some new features include user-replaceable electronic pressure transducers and a user-replaceable digital vacuum sensor, a physical buzzer that has been added to front of the console for the traverse point alarm, and a Wi-Fi module for increased flexibility of connection. If you are looking for a fully-automated console, check out our STM-6000.

A 32-bit microcontroller converts the sensor inputs and displays the totalized sample volume, temperatures, and pressures into configured units of measure. The transflective LCD display is sunlight-readable and backlit so it can be seen in the dark. Three advanced, self-tuning 1/32 DIN temperature controllers with individual solid-state relays are used for controlling heaters, e.g. probe, filter, and valve heaters. The digital LCD screen displays the dry gas meter volume, elapsed time, the dry gas meter pressure (Pm), data point information, and all 8 thermocouples. Coarse and fine valves are used to control the sample flow rate and to adjust the vacuum during leak checks. A 1/4″ sample inlet quick connect provides a convenient connection for the sample vacuum line. An easy-to-use 6-button keypad is used to reset the gas volume and elapsed time at the start of each sample period, along with other functions.

Building on the legacy of the XC-623, the XD-623 introduces an integrated data acquisition and control system, which streamlines data logging and monitoring by providing real-time digital control and on-screen display of all operating parameters. This enhanced digital integration improves workflow efficiency, reduces manual recording errors, and gives operators more confidence in their sampling accuracy.

This new generation XD-623 also includes increased processing power, multiple language support within the software, and general software and firmware improvements.
