Thermoelectric Gas Cooler

The TEC-1612 Thermoelectric Gas Cooler is a robust single-stage gas cooler. It is designed to effectively remove condensate from the gas stream to deliver dry gas to the analyzer. It can be used as a stand-alone unit or coupled with our ACC-1610 Air-Cooled Condenser for additional condensate removal.

Portable Thermoelectric Gas Cooler

The TEP-1612 Portable Thermoelectric Gas Cooler removes water vapor from process gas samples prior to gas analysis. The TEP-1612 has an aluminum block containing a single-pass stainless-steel condenser, a peristaltic pump for condensate removal, and three auxiliary temperature controllers (probe, oven and heated sample line jumper). The rugged and lightweight design allows the cooler to be used on the sampling platform, close to the source.

Thermoelectric Dual-Stage Gas Cooler

The TEC-1624 Thermoelectric Dual-Stage Gas Cooler removes moisture from a gas sample and ensures that the sample is cooled to a constant dew point before reaching the analyzer. The TEC-1624 is designed to be a rack-mountable gas cooler. With its robust two stage single-channel gas conditioning system, the unit efficiently removes condensate and delivers dry gas to the analyzer. The first stage is air-cooled to reduce the dew point of the gas sample and the second stage is actively cooled with thermoelectric modules.

Pre-Cooler

The ACC-1610 Pre-Cooler is a low-cost alternative to higher-capacity gas conditioners. The ACC-1610 uses ambient air to reduce the dew point and separate any condensed moisture. The pre-cooler reduces the load on the main gas cooler and ensures that moisture stays out of the gas sample stream. It relies on an aluminum heat exchanger tube and 2 high flow fans to lower the dew point and moisture concentration of sample gas to 15-40 F above ambient temperature. The unit must be fitted with a peristaltic pump to extract condensate.

Mercury Gas Coolers

TEC-4000Hg Thermoelectric Gas Cooler

The TEC-4000Hg Thermoelectric Gas Cooler removes moisture and gas and is designed to be used with the XC-6000 Sorbent Trap Mercury Monitoring Systems for PS-12B. The TEC-4000Hg is mounted in a 19-inch cabinet with the STM-6000 and provides a robust, closed, and dual-channel gas conditioning system that collects condensate in sample bottles and delivers dry, acid-free gas to the meter console.

Thermoelectric Portable Gas Cooler

The TEC-4000HGP Thermoelectric Portable Gas Cooler removes moisture by cooling the sample gas to a constant dew point using the new Apex Pinnacle Heat Pump. It is housed in our rugged, lightweight case for easy transport. The chiller is equipped with a closed, dual-channel gas conditioning system that collects condensate in sample bottles and delivers dry, acid-free gas to the meter console. The chiller is designed to be used with the XC-30B and XC-260 Mercury Sampling Consoles.

The Apex Instruments VSB5-SCW condenses water vapor from sample gas using water-jacketed stainless steel condensers and a peristaltic pump. The simple and versatile design is meant to be used with an ice water circulator.
